It’s no avocado toast, but it’s popular down under, albeit by mistake. See, a cafe in Melbourne, Australia is credited with starting this trend. It’s an avocado latte. Truman Cafe posted the creation on Instagram, we’re assuming as a joke considering the “laughing with tears” emoji. It turns out that people actually showed up and ordered the thing, and they started actually selling lattes in avocados. Australians love avocados.
I don’t know whether or not it’s actually tasty, but it’s only a matter of time before it happens here. One can only assume it would come with a whole handful of napkins because, well, obvious reasons. Here’s the cafe’s Instagram post just below, and you too can be grossed out (or appetized?) by the creation.
