A new clear coffee has just been created, and it carries a promise that it won’t stain your teeth. Sounds like a plus!
It’s called “CLRCFF” (“clear coffee” without vowels), and was created by two brothers who took about three months to come up with the technique. The way they make it is being kept a secret of course, but they promise that it doesn’t contain any chemicals at all, and it won’t stain your teeth. The ingredients list only has a few things listed: water, coffee, caffeine, and less than 1/10th of a gram of fat.
CLRCFF actually has a slight brown-ish tint to it, but it’s definitely transparent enough to call clear. The flavor is all coffee though – it’s been described as “a potent cold brew,” although another reporter who sampled it compared it to the way coffee tastes if you were to squeeze the last bit of water out of spent coffee beans from the filter. Two very different descriptions, but then again, some people are used to stronger or weaker coffees, and everyone seems to have a different preference for taste.
